At ALI’S, our commitment to ethical fashion begins with the artisans who bring our pieces to life. Every fabric, every weave, and every stitch tells a story that has been passed down for generations. Yet today, these traditions are at risk of disappearing.

THE HANDS THAT WEAVE TODAY MAY BE THE LAST TO DO SO.

In Tunisia, more than 70% of Melia artisans have closed their workshops, with no one left to carry on their craft. The few who remain struggle to make a living, as demand for their work has declined in a world driven by fast fashion and mass production. This loss is more than just economic, it is the erosion of a cultural legacy, of techniques that have been perfected over centuries, of the very soul of handcrafted textiles.

OUR COMMITMENT

We believe that these artisans and their incredible skills deserve recognition, respect, and real opportunities. That’s why we are committed to:

Fair Wages & Ethical Working Conditions by ensuring that artisans are compensated fairly, so they can continue their craft with dignity and stability.
Reviving Traditional Techniques by working with weavers, tailors, and embroiderers to preserve and modernize their skills in ways that make them more relevant and desirable today.
Creating Global Demand by sharing their work with the world, we're determined to bring back appreciation for these time-honored crafts and open new markets for artisans.

WITH ALI'S, THE LEGACY LIVES ON.
